Drawing Sonic 

Step 1

Sonic has some pretty distinctive features in his design, and we’ll be sure to include them all! To begin with, we’ll start with one of these features; his pointed back!

To start, you can draw a horizontal curved line for the top of the tips. We’ll add three dots to its recommendations using a series of curved lines that end in a dot. To help you visualize where everything will go, you can draw a circle using a light pencil to show where its head will be to its tips.

Step 2

 We’ll add to the beginning of his head outline. Add a triangular line to form his ear at the end of the curved line you drew. Using the reference image as a guide, you can draw a curved line to form the front of her head. This part might take some practice, so it might be a good idea to draw it in pencil and then run through it in pen once you’re happy with it.

Step 3

In this next step of our guide to drawing Sonic, we’ll show you how to draw the remainder of his head. Using the ear, you, the player in step two, fastidiously add a semicircular line for the highest of his he. Once you have that drawn, you can add another pointy ear like the other and then mirror the side of his face to look like the other side. With that done, your Sonic Head is complete, and you can move on to the next step!

Step 4

Before drawing the primary arm of your Sonic style, add a falcate line to create his smiling mouth within his head! The connection picture will guide you on where to place this. His arm will then extend in a straight line directly from his head. His gloved hand is then made up of more curved lines, and you can follow the image closely to copy the design of the hand. Once you are pleased with his arm, fastidiously draw a downward line with a sharp point for his tail.

Step 5

Now that you’ve drawn one hand, you should have no problem adding the other! His other arm will be a mirror image of the first one you draw, so it should be much easier to add, especially with the reference image to help. Once the other arm is drawn, you can use a nice curved line to give Sonic a belly. This line should almost touch the other side of his body, but be sure to leave space for his leg in the next step.

Step 6

Sonic wouldn’t be Sonic without his short legs, so it’s time to draw some for him in your Sonic drawing! Using shorter, straighter lines, you can add to the beginning of her legs. One of them will reach the space you departed earlier.Her socks are made up of two chunky shapes, and her shows are tall and rounded. I’m sure you’ll do a great job drawing in her legs using the reference image!

Step 7

For the next step in our guide on how to draw Sonic, we’ll give the quick hero a face. You can give him his eyes by using two long ovals and adding two small black ovals.He then has his eyes surrounded by a large rounded shape that you can see in the photo. Draw it carefully, then add a round nose to it. Finally, you can add some lines in his ears to give them depth.

Step 8

Your Sonic drawing is almost done and needs some finishing touches! As shown in the reference image, you can draw simple lines on areas such as her stomach, hands, and feet. With these details added, there is only one more step to take.
